Atlanta-based rapper, Jonah Cruzz has just dropped visuals for the lead single, "Baby Boy" from is debut album, Just To Get By.

The song finds the Philly born, Atlanta reared rhymer rapping about rising up to achieve success, in spite of external circumstances.

"Giving all I got to give to touch the sky," he raps on the hook, over Organized Noize-esque, grimy production courtesy of DJ Razah. It makes sense, as he's previously collaborated with Goodie MOB's Big Gipp and Atlanta production legend, DJ Toomp.

The storytelling track serves well to showcase Jonah's above average lyricism. Grounded and honest, yet compelling, Jonah says he drew from his experiences growing up in poverty to formulate the foundation for his debut project.

. “We moved around a lot; from Forest Park, to Riverdale, then to Clayton County," he explains, mentioning the various south Atlanta neighborhoods where he was raised. "We even stayed in a motel for a while."

As for the visuals, the clip finds Jonah recording his comings and goings as he maneuvers around Atlanta before hitting the strip in New Orleans.
