Joey Bada$$ Lectured at NYU, Rapper Now Headed to Harvard

Joey Bada$$ debuted a new track on Ebro Darden's Beats 1 show this week called "Ready." The song is produced by Statik Selektah and he's also hitting the lecture circuit.

The Brooklyn native spoke at New York University this week, sharing with students his insight on the music industry and how he was able to find his footing in what can be a very hard business. Joey even stayed for a Q+A with the audiences and talked frankly to up-and-coming recording artists. He also let the crowd hear "Ready."

While discussing his career, Joey broke down how he was discovered, his passion, and what he's concerned about career-wise. He also talked about his Pro Era collective and elaborated on his planned shift into films and television.

"The moment I chose to follow my heart I started living life," shared Joey.
