While we are still waiting with bated breath for Jeremih's third album, Late Nights, to actually release, the Chi-town artist dropped by the 2015 Soul Train Awards to serenade the crowd with a couple of songs from the forthcoming project.

Erykah Badu introduced him by saying he's "repping the south side of Chicago," and the 28-year-old crooner appears at the piano with a very chic red moto jacket and his signature dark shades. He kicked off his performance with his newest single, "Oui," which just release at the end of October. Over bouncy piano chords, it's grows from a passionate ballad to an upbeat track you can groove to.

After singing a verse and the chorus, he stands up from the instrument as the tempo changes for "Planes." J. Cole might not have been present for his verse, but that's okay because Jeremih and his crew of dancing flight attendants held it down. Since its release at the top of 2015, it has been on high rotation and is a clear fan favorite as the crowd started singing along. And while Jeremih danced stage, the camera finds a number of people in the crowd dancing along to it as well.

Although we're more than pleased with the singer's performance, that doesn't mean we're satisfied with the fact that his Late Night still needs to drop. So hopefully, his medley at the 2015 Soul Train Awards can be the hint towards announcing a release date.
