Jay-Z Not Feeling Bubbly

Jay-Z has decided to boycott hip-hop mainstay Cristal over comments made by Frederic Rouzaud, managing director of the champagne company Louis Roederer.

When asked by the Economist of his opinion on rappers' affinity for Cristal, Rouzaud said, "I'm sure Dom Perignon or Krug would be delighted to have their business."

Jay, who's often rhymed about and featured the drink in his music and videos, responded by calling Rouzaud's comments "racist" and promising to pull Cristal from his chain of personal sports lounges and other endeavors.

The hip-hop mogul did decide, however, to heed Rouzaud's advice: He'll party with Dom Perignon and Krug.
