The traditional gift for a 10th anniversary is tin. The modern gift is diamond jewelry. Jay-Z, of course, is a modern kind of guy.

That was no tin can the rap kingpin wheeled onstage at the much-ballyhooed 10th anniversary celebration of his debut album, 'Reasonable Doubt,' at Radio City Music Hall Sunday night. It was a '96 Lexus. Dressed in a white tuxedo, Jay was backed by the equally dapper members of the Roots, rechristened for the evening as ?uestlove and the Philadelphonics, as well as the Hustler Symphony Orchestra.

As promised, the band ran through every track on 'Reasonable Doubt' in reverse order. After an intermission, Jigga returned with Memphis Bleek and DJ Just Blaze for a medley of his hits. 'U Don't Know' featured a montage of Nirvana clips. The night's many guests included Foxy Brown, Jay's onetime adversary Sauce Money and Jay's lady Beyoncé, who emerged in a white gown to take the Mary J. Blige vocal part on 'Can't Knock the Hustle.'

No, you can't.
