Jay-Z has his hands full with fatherhood, the Brooklyn Nets, rapping and now he's aligning himself with a new liquor set to compete with the Hennessy brand. The Reasonable Doubt creator helped introduce D'ussé -- pronounced "dew-say" -- Wednesday night (May 9) in New York City.

The Life Files reports Hov was in attendance at the exclusive event to launch the product, which is the latest addition to the Bacardi brand. Available next month, the VSOP cognac will retail at around $44.99 per 750-ml bottle.

Endorsing top-shelf alcohol is nothing new for the rapper. Jay-Z has been generous in name-dropping Ace of Space champagne -- known as Armand de Brignac -- in his lyrics and videos.
