Janet Jackson Janet Jackson appeared on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' on Friday, April 2, to promote her new film 'Why Did I Get Married Too?' with director Tyler Perry. The pop star also discussed her feelings about her brother Michael's death.

The singer/actress said that she still grieves for her brother, who passed away a year ago this upcoming June. She has difficulty looking at his pictures and videos. "It's hard to believe still to this day," Jackson said, of the legendary pop star's sudden death. "There isn't a day that goes by where I don't think about him. Our whole family thinks of him every single day."

Jackson, who is currently working on a self-help book entitled 'True to You,' revealed to Oprah that the last time she had seen her brother was a month before his tragic death. She said that it was clear to her that Michael was unwell, and that her family had attempted to hold an intervention for him, but he denied that he had any health problems. She said that her last words to Michael were "I love you."
