Graffiti Artists to Battle Live at ‘The Burning of Kingston’

The pillars of hip-hop culture include the art of graffiti writing (for those uniformed) and to celebrate the movement, Mass Appeal & Red Bull will host a graffiti exhibition, taking place on a New York City subway car this month.

The Burning of Kingston, the name for the all-out graffiti battle, pits two teams against each other to see who comes up with the best pieces. Graffiti artists will come together to battle for bragging rights and recognition at the Trolley Museum of New York in Kingston.

Festivities take place on Sept., 13, from 12PM to 6PM at the Trolly Museum, where, crowds can see graf artists like Ces, Ribs, Dero, T-Kid, Doves, Bio, Revolt, Doc TC-5, Yes 2, DMote and Cope2 in action. The free event will feature live music, food and local vendors.
