Coming off a stellar comeback year in which he released one of our top 10 favorite albums in 'The Stimulus Package,' Freeway is currently taking a little holiday break with a trip over to Africa. The former Roc-a-fella rapper has been visiting different locales over the past few days and posted a video of his tour of an orphanage in Djibouti, the small country sandwiched between Somalia and Ethiopia on Africa's east coast.

"We visited [an] orphanage today in Africa it touched me i must share this with #TeamEarly," Freeway tweeted this morning along with a video. He also apparently has a pretty big performance coming up. "I'm staying in Djibouti a few extra days," he wrote. "Me & @theJacka were asked to perform for the Prime Minister on Wednesday evening. Masha Allah!!!!!"

The trip comes as Freeway is about to release an end-of-the-year mixtape. Entitled 'Diamond in the Ruff,' the Philly Freezer hopes to build on his chemistry with Jake One and turn in another top contender to close out 2010. The tape drops Dec. 21 and was recently previewed in a video clip with fellow East Coast veteran Styles P.
