Frank Ocean has a fan in 22-year-old Tristan Wilds. The Staten Island native is known more for his acting work on acclaimed shows like HBO's 'The Wire' and the CW's new '90210' rather than his vocal abilities. However, he's putting his pipes on display in a cover of Ocean's song, 'Thinking About You.'

The actor strays from using the ever-popular Auto-Tune feature and allows his natural singing abilities to shine. Wilds opts to sing the tune a cappella, but before he commences, he beatboxes as an intro. He also has no fear in hitting the same high notes the Odd Future member made familiar on the original track.

According to NecoleBitchie.com, Wilds is crafting a seven-song free EP set for a November release.

He reportedly signed a deal with Ten2one Entertainment and has songs like the Rico Love-penned 'Fall 4 Her' and 'Runaround,' which Wilds co-wrote with Ryan Toby, added to his resume.

In Frank Ocean news, the singer, who appears on Kanye West and Jay-Z's 'Watch the Throne' LP, has announced his first set of solo tour dates. He'll hit the House of Blues in New Orleans on Nov. 5, Bowery Ballroom in New York City on Nov. 6 and close out the dates in L.A., where he currently resides, on Nov. 15 at the El Rey Theater.
