Flo Rida Struggled to Come Up With Name — Say What!

Before he was so brilliantly named, Flo Rida struggled to find a moniker for himself. "When I was 17, to be a part of a group like [former group] the Groundhoggz, you definitely have to come up with a name," Flo recalled. "At first, I was going by the name of Ruckus Pimp...I just thought that was like a little bit out there, so I went to over to my boy's house. He's just like, 'Man, we got to come up with a name today.' So, OK, I sat up there for about an hour and finally, it hit me...Take Florida, break it in half and there you go: Flo Rida." Wow. [MTV]

Kid Cudi recently recalled his least favorite job; working at gourmet grocery store Dean & Deluca in NYC. "This place sucked. It was the worst job," complained Cudder. "I'm not trying to diss the establishment of Dean & Deluca, but this store specifically was just not run the way that it was supposed to be run...It was the worst experience, I hated it. I don't even think they gave me my last check, man! I actually know they didn't because they were so mad that I quit on them. I just didn't show up because the guy was such a d--k manager.
