MTV has announced that Eminem is the latest addition to the 2010 Video Music Awards lineup. Em joins Justin Bieber, Kanye West, B.o.B. and Drake as performers at the annual awards show, which will be hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler.

Already enjoying a banner year in which his critically acclaimed, platinum-selling new album, 'Recovery' has sat at No.1 for 6 weeks, Em is nominated for eight Video Music Awards, including Best Male Video and the coveted Video of the Year, and has now been officially added to the already-stacked VMA lineup that also includes presentations by Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz and Ne-Yo.

Though Kanye's inclusion is likely the most controversial, Em, who holds sixth place on the list of all-time Video Music Awards winners, has had his share of memorable VMA moments, from his 2000 'Real Slim Shady' performance with an army of look-a-likes, to his 2002 incident with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and his most recent run-in with Borat in 2009.
