It used to be that reflective gear was just for runners and cyclists; a safety feature on apparel and footwear that allowed the wearer to be visible in low light. Now reflective materials like 3M have become the fabric du jour in streetwear and sneaker design. The fashionable guy doesn’t just wear reflective stuff to be seen at night but also to be seen at night. Follow? Ever on trend, sneaker retailer DTLR has collaborated with Timberland for the limited-edition 6" Black Reflective Boot.

The boot boasts the 3M reflective material that produces a strobe-like effect when hit with light. The construction boot comes with a silver reflective collar, rope laces and a reflective Timberland tree emblem at the heel.

There's also a pair of leather black laces if you want to swap out the rope laces. In addition, the 400 grams of PrimaLoft insulation will keep your feet warm and dry during those cold winter nights.

Only 2,400 pairs of boots were made and are available exclusively at DTLR retail locations and its online store on Nov. 28.
