DJ Khaled Is Selling Clothes From His Personal Wardrobe to Help High School Students
DJ Khaled recently topped the Billboard charts with another No.1 album, so he has a lot to be celebrating. And while he might be popping champagne bottles in celebration of this major accomplishment, he is also giving back. Khaled has reportedly teamed up with the popular online reselling service Poshmark to sell clothes from his closet to help motivate kids to graduate.
Khaled launched his first four collections on Tuesday (July 11) on the online market place. The store includes leather jackets, Khaled's famous velour sweat suits, t-shirts, and two very popular items–the powder blue satin suits that he and his son Ashad wore on his latest album cover.
All the proceeds from his online closet will be donated to Khaled's "Win More Music" campaign, which is a collaboration with the non-profit organization Get Schooled. Get Schooled's mission is to empower and engage young people and to give them the tools and inspiration to get the education they need to succeed. They use their digital platform to give students the necessary resources they need to find work and attend college.
