It's been eight years since the celebrated trio of Evidence, Rakaa Iriscience and DJ Babu released an album together, so the anticipation is understandably high. The wait is almost over though as Dilated Peoples' 'Directors of Photography' is scheduled to arrive next month.

After giving fans their first taste of the LP with the DJ Premier produced single 'Good As Gone', the Dilated crew offers up yet another glimpse via the Aloe Blacc-assisted 'Show Me the Way' produced by Jake One.

While the group ventured out into solo endeavors the past few years, the on-wax chemistry between Evidence and Rakaa is apparent as the two sound right at home alongside each other once again. Aloe Blacc delivers a soulful hook that strengthens the triumphant tone of 'Show Me the Way' set by Jake One's hard-knocking beat.

Evidence raps, "I say hello to my people, say hello to the day / Watch the world on wheels, hit the yellow and gray / The ones don't work are the ones don't eat / And once again I'm from that city where the sun don't sleep / It's time to get live because the terms is breached / Ride the wave like the world is a beach / Learn more, I teach / I was raised by N.W.A. and stay CA, all day / Same story, different briefcase / I'm nonchalant to others peddling weight / I got a purpose to serving up and settling my state / Been through it, all of it great / Put the ruler to movement, all of it straight."

The new Dilated Peoples album 'Directors of Photography' drops August 12th on Rhymesayers Ent. You can pre-ordered the long awaited LP now via Fifth Element, iTunes and Amazon.
