Curren$y Reunites With Lil Wayne & Birdman on ‘442’
Curren$y and Lil Wayne's careers may have taken completely opposite turns -- Curren$y grinding to become one of the most successful independent rappers in the game, Wayne soaring to mainstream superstardom -- since Spitta registered as one of Weezy's first Young Money goons in the mid '00s, but the New Orleans natives still have one thing in common: the love for cars.
On '442,' a title that nods to the '60s Oldsmobile muscle car, the former Cash Money colleagues trade slick, Southern rhymes over a jazzy beat that's cater-made for an old school whip. Even Birdman makes an appearance at the reunion party to pull one of those pimpin' guest verses out the back pocket.
