If you thought the legalization of recreational marijuana in California meant it was all good to smoke weed at Coachella this year, think again.

As Billboard points out, the California music festival's website makes it clear— there's still no weed smoking allowed on festival grounds.

“Sorry bro. Marijuana and marijuana products aren’t allowed inside [the festival]. Even in 2018 and beyond. If that changes, we’ll update this answer," the site's Q&A section reads.

Starting on Jan. 1, everyone in Cali was allowed to smoke weed recreationally, including on private properties, as well as at licensed businesses—much like Denver's legalization laws. Snoop Dogg got in on the celebration, teaming up with fast food join, Jack in the Box, to offer a special weed-themed meal deal for a short period of time.

Still, decriminalizing weed on the federal level as well as in states who have yet to pass the progressive legislature will be an uphill battle, thanks to Trump's attorney general, Jeff Sessions who last week, reasserted the Federal government's prohibition on marijuana, overriding states' rights.

At any rate, Coachella, which will be headlined by Beyoncé, The Weeknd and Eminem—sans any green—will take place April 13-15th and April 20-22.
