R&B princess Ciara didn't receive a very warm welcome when she joined Kanye West and Amber Rose at the Givenchy fashion show in Paris on Tuesday night (Jan. 26.) The ATL singer, who has been cited as the muse of Givenchy artistic director Riccardo Tisci, showed up nearly 40 minutes late for the show, to an impatient and irritated crowd of photographers. Organizers had reportedly held the show until her arrival, so when CiCi refused to allow photographers enough time to snap a few worthy shots of her, she was treated to some hearty boos before retreating to her seat in the front row.

Despite her less-than-friendly reception at the show, Tisci and his guests still toasted Ciara at a private cocktail party following the debut of the Givenchy line. She was the guest of honor at the upscale reception, which was held at Paris' Ritz Hotel. Ciara, who says she's been busy working on her new album, didn't offer much of an apology for the slip up. "I'm so happy I was able to be on time -- well, sort of," she said. "I've been finishing my album." But she did take some time to praise the French fashion brand for their work, telling the Associated Press that "[Givenchy] is about taking risks, and having edge and being strong."
