Cam’ron Takes a Shot at Kanye West on New Song ‘La Havana’ [LISTEN]
After taking shots at Ma$e on his recent project The Program, Cam'ron now appears to be throwing jabs at Kanye West on his latest song.
On Wednesday (Dec. 20), Cinematic Music Group released a 30-track playlist featuring two songs from Cam'ron. On the song "La Havana," the Dipset member calls out Yeezy's Life of Pablo album, rapping, "Shit, they can't forget my religiously in their memory/Life of Pablo, every other song the n---a mention me."
Killa Cam had previously mentioned Kanye on the song "Cole Slaw" from The Program, making reference to 'Ye's beef with JAY-Z. "Kanye got on stage, what he do? Play Jay-Z out/What he do next? Check into the crazy house?/F--k that, you made a living talking greasy/Besides that, man, you Yeezy with the Yeezys/Be yourself, you ain’t gotta go AWOL," he raps.
While Cam shouldn't expect a full-blown diss track from Yeezy, the Harlem rapper did get one from Ma$e, who dropped the scathing track, "The Oracle." Rapping over JAY-Z's "The Blueprint 2" beat, Ma$e accused Cam of snitching, spitting, "Tax know you as the n----s that snitch on the Roc/D.C. n----s know you as just a n---a they shot/OG n----s don’t have no history with you on the block/And everybody seen the footage I got," he raps.
