Boyz II Men Drop New Jam, ‘More Than You’ll Ever Know’
The '90s classic hit-makers Boyz II Men are back and here to fire up your R&B love song nostalgia. Twenty years after their 'Cooleyhighharmony' album debut, the group -- now a trio after Michael McCary left the group in 2003, due to health issues -- are getting ready to drop their anniversary album 'Twenty' on Oct. 25.
The crooners return with 'More Than You'll Ever Know,' a heart-felt cut that stays true to the group's original sound but resonates the passing of decades.
"You're still number one in my eyes and to this day, I still get butterflies/ Know that I love you more than you will ever know," Shawn Stockman, Wanya Morris and Nate Morris croon in the new tune written and co-produced by Charlie Wilson. "No I can't imagine you by my side, everything you are and all you do, I'm still in love with you!" Check it out and starting swooning...
"We always stay true to ourselves," Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman told the Boombox, "We're happy to have people still accept us and what we do, that people still appreciate good love songs." As for Michael McCary who is not taking part in the project, Stockman said "We can't replace him and we never will."
