Adidas killed the collaboration game by bringing big names like Kanye West and Pharrell Williams in-house, but there was almost one more fashion killer in the lineup. It appears that the art and DJ collective known as Been Trill could have been part of the designing process as well and yes, our minds are as equally blown as yours are. The even better part of this revelation is that we've got pictures of the shoe and thusly had no choice but to make them our Sneaker of the Week.

The Adidas Samba serves as the base and it's completely covered in shiny metallic silver 3M leather. The Been Trill influence is felt on the branding by way of their signature font used to spell out the word "Samba" on the side as well as two hashtags surrounding the trefoil on the tongue and heel tab. Finished off with Japanese writing on the heel and a clear metallic silver outsole, these are very well designed and oddly understated.

The collaboration recently surfaced on eBay and rumor has it that not too long ago they quietly released to Adidas outlets. Imagine how crazy it would have been to stumble upon a find like this!
