August Alsina has been pretty quiet since the release of his 2015 sophomore album, This Thing Called Life, aside from a spot on DJ Khaled's summer release Major Key, but now he's returned to the scene with a new single, "Drugs."

Assumedly the track will make his anticipated third album, which is due out later this year. The song, which is now available for purchase on iTunes, finds the New Orleans singer yearning for his woman.

I got you on my mind/I got you on my mind/You're not here and I can't sleep
I got you on my mind/And I can't seem to find you nowhere/Baby you got me patrollin'/'Cause you been on the run Forest Gumpin'/Girl, don't hide it/I'm just tryna do this dirty laundry/I got a few towels to throw in/Just lick my blunt when I roll it," he croons on the track.

August's third project is due out in 2017. For now, take a listen to "Drugs" via Spotify below.
