lloyd BanksOne of the more gruesome hip-hop news items to make the rounds thus far in 2010 is the alleged assault of an Ontario concert promoter by G-Unit's Lloyd Banks. After some initial confusion, the victim has been revealed as Chris Hines, a local booking agent. Hines, appearing thoroughly battered, was interviewed in a Hollywood Street King YouTube exclusive and aired out a few details of the incident.

He claims that three other people (Nicklas Sloane, Shawn McGee and Tyrell Cooper) along with Banks held him captive in a hotel room. The crew reportedly assaulted and robbed him.

"It was at Blandford, Ontario. There's a little more to the story, like I said, I don't want to get into it too much," Hines explained. "But he [Banks] was paid in advance. We got into a confrontation. Of course, they assaulted me and kept me there for a little while. It was probably like for 20 minutes, 30 minutes. They had me there for quite some time.... Like, I worked for the guys for years and I don't really know what the f--- they were thinking. If they were watching a movie earlier, I don't know what that's about. The whole incident that night had nothing to do with me, and everybody knows that."

Reports indicate that Banks and company are being charged with forceful confinement, aggravated assault and robbery. They remain in custody.
