Akon has been slapped with a lawsuit by an electric company claiming they never got paid for the electrical work they performed on the rapper’s Atlanta mansion.

According to Radar Online, the 'Smack That' artist hired Southern Electric Company to renovate his home last year. The company alleges that Akon failed to pay $95,000 for "labor and materials" used during the construction. They are seeking that amount plus interest.

Shockingly, Akon has racked up an astounding list of lawsuits within the past year.

The singer-songwriter is being sued by Australian businessman Patrick Grove who claims that he booked Akon for a party in April and he never showed up. Grove is seeking the $150,000 he paid Akon plus damages.

Also, an Egyptian singer is suing Akon for allegedly reneging on a performance contract. In his suit, Tamer Hosney claims he paid the 'Locked Up' crooner $300,000 to have both him and Pitbull appear on his song 'Arabian Knight' and in the accompanying video. Pitbull never showed up as Akon promised and now he wants his money back.

Akon’s lawyer had no comment on his client’s legal matters.
