The Air Jordan 8 Aqua is still on shelves and one of the reasons for this may be that people are waiting for the Air Jordan 8 Chrome to drop. Well, as an early Christmas gift, Nike is releasing this classic colorway sooner than you think.

The Air Jordan 8 "Chrome" originally was released in 2003 to commemorate Michael Jordan's three-peat, which came from victories against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Portland Trailblazers and the Phoenix Suns. The pair dons a simple black, white and light graphite colorway but oddly enough that is all you need, especially with the model being a part of Jordan Brand’s remastering program.

This means that the materials used on the shoe will be top notch and that fact alone makes this a marquee release just in time to close out the year. It also means that the price tag on these kicks will be pricey. The shoes will retail for $190 before taxes, so make room in your Christmas shopping budget if you want a pair.

As we previously stated, the release date has been bumped up as well. You can now cop these commemorative sneakers at Nike retailers on Dec. 19. Good luck!
