Air Jordan 4 Alternate 89

Michael Jordan’s basketball career is pretty much picture-perfect, but in favor of enriching the storyline of his sneakers Nike has created the Alternate 89. Long story short, it’s a re-imagining of MJ's exclusive models and is responsible for a few highly anticipated drops.

The Air Jordan 4 is the next to be serviced to the masses and it's a great-looking shoe. Dressed in white leather, the model is given quite a bit of help courtesy of gym red accents on the midsole, netting and lining as well. The special "Alternate 89" designation can be found on the inside of the heel tab just to let you know that these are indeed cut from a special cloth.

The Air Jordan 4 "Alternate 89" will hit stores at Nike retailers and Nike.com on Jan. 2. So kick off your new year with these fly new kicks.
