The Air Jordan 14 Low Laney hasn’t been in stores since 1999, so there's a chance that you may have missed out on its release because you may not have even been born yet. Well, regardless of the reason you didn't cop last time, soon you’ll have a chance to get a pair.

The varsity royal-based colorway is named for the high school that cut Jordan in his sophomore year. While that was a very unfortunate event, it certainly inspired greatness in both the man himself and this colorway. The varsity royal nubuck upper is toggled against a black toe and a few varsity maize accents on the heel and tongue. This is the perfect intersection of model, colorway and story. Sixteen years is a long time to wait and we’re just happy that these kicks are making a return.

It’ll probably be absolute bedlam when they arrive on Oct. 3 and we all know that you should expect to see the streets flooded with this colorway the following week. Hit up Nike to try and get a pair starting 10 a.m. EST or just drop by Wish.
