When Adidas decided to drape their Spezial in Primeknit they had to come up with a fitting name for the technological upgrade and they settled upon the most logical one. The Adidas Very Spezial Primeknit is the result of that marriage and it’s a very cool shoe.

The Adidas Spezial is a 1979 model that grew a cult following overseas but we’ve never seen it quite like this. The Primeknit upper gives it a one-piece construction and that is extra evident around the ankle with it’s sock like enclosure. The knit sneaker is cast in two colorways including grey and blue with an all-around gum outsole that really pops with contrast.

The Adidas Very Spezial Primeknit is set to drop in April 2016, which is perfect since you’ll probably want to rock them sockless during the spring months. Look for these kicks at select Adidas retailers for $135.
