Three weeks weeks into 2011 and 50 Cent is still ringing in the new year. The entertainment mogul just dropped a new festive freestyle via YouTube dubbed 'Happy New Year,' and strategically placed an image of his new Sleek by 50 Cent line of headphones in the video.

The celebratory track/commercial, set to a horn-festooned beat, sees the Queens native getting out of character, rapping about drug use -- which he admits he doesn't do. "N----s f--- with dope and coke not Vicodins and Percocets / Tonight I'm open-minded, f--- it / I'll give it a try," he raps, justifying his change of heart by claiming "getting high is getting high."

He also raps about being encouraged to indulge in some extracurricular drug use, reviving Eminem and Dr. Dre's characters from the classic track 'Guilty Conscience.' "Em say I need help, Dre said the s--- OK / Next thing you know, a n---- sittin' up in AA / Hi, my name is Curtis Jackson, gotta have it," he spits before his festive chorus.

50 has been surprisingly quiet when it comes to new music since the release of 2009's 'Before I Self Destruct.' The rapper, who was prepping the release of the 'Black Magic' LP, scrapped the project and is currently putting in work on his untitled fifth album.
