For years now, the BET Hip Hop Awards have been steadily presenting more performances than actual trophies -- but we aren't complaining when the artist is doing their thing. The awards show on Tuesday night (Oct. 13) started off easy with Snoop Dogg settling into his hosting duties for another go-round. The OG made it clear that the party would go on from beginning to the very end, as he moved things along without hesitation -- and even through in some skits -- but it was still pretty interesting that there was no break in the momentum. For every passing moment, there was something else to look at.

The BET Hip Hop Awards always provide more than enough fodder and watercooler moments to discuss. Plus, some of the most amusing memes we'll ever see until the next award show airs always pop up. From Diddy and his choreographed Nae Nae to Dej Loaf bearing the eeriest resemblance to Batman of Immature, music fans pulled no punches after the show aired.

Only two awards were actually given out at the show this year -- Best Club Banger to Big Sean and his track "IDFWU" and the I Am Hip Hop Award to Houston rap pioneer Scarface -- but the performances were many and they all came swiftly, so it was seemingly easier to poke fun at those who performed.
