Although it hasn't been getting much attention, the violence in Chicago is still an ongoing issue. As a result, another life was lost on Friday morning (March 27) and it affects the hip-hop community.

The Chicago Sun Times reports that Lil Durk's manager OTF Chino Dolla, born Uchenna Agina, was shot and killed in southside Chicago. He was 24. Chino Dolla was sitting in his car outside of an Avalon Park restaurant when, at approximately 1:50 a.m., a man approached him on foot and fired multiple shots into the vehicle. He was hit once in the head and was pronounced dead when he arrived at Advocate Trinity Hospital.

The shooting came shortly after Chino Dolla met with Chicago Bulls star Joakim Noah to discuss anti-violence initiatives, according to DNA Info. Chino Dolla was the lone fatality in a violent night in Southside. Two more were wounded in separate shootings. The police have made no arrests.

Lil Durk has remained silent on social media following the loss of his manager. The tragedy comes just days after he announced the release date for his new project, Remember My Name, which comes out on May 12.

Many members of the hip-hop community sent their condolences to Lil Durk and his family. Read some of them below.
