While some fans were first exposed to Tech N9ne via his scene-stealing guest verse on Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter IV,’ we know that the Strange Music boss has been killing it with high caliber verses for two decades now. As an independent artist, he showed others how to cultivate a rabid following and make rapping lucrative without relying on the majors for marketing or promotion --- selling over 2 million records in the process.

L.I. stand up. Hailing from Hempstead, Long Island Roc Marciano has been affiliated with Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip and Pete Rock. After releasing an album with his crew the U.N. in the early 2000s, he re-emerged as a soloist with the groundbreaking album, 'Marcberg,' only to follow it up with the equally dope ‘Reloaded.' A scientist of N.Y.-style street rap, his content features slick gangster talk and is backed by raw, stripped down production.
