Who’s better? "Shorty the Pimp" or the "Prisoner of Conscious"?

Too Short started his career selling tapes out of the trunk of a car and now, after millions of records sold and a long relationship with Jive Records, he’s back on the indie grind with his Dangerous Music label. Ask Kid Cudi, Jay Z or any of the countless artists he's done features for -- he’s still the coldest mack on the mic.

BK MC Talib Kweli’s career is a study in resilience and perseverance. He helped make indie label Rawkus a powerhouse in the late '90s as part of Black Star with Mos Def and Reflection Eternal with DJ Hi-Tek. After going solo and doing the major label thing he's back with his own company, Javotti Media. Never forget that he's the guy that Jay Z name-checked and one of the MCs Kanye cites as one of his biggest influences and early mentors.
