Sneaker of the Week

There is nothing more fun than seeing Nike put thoughtful effort into bringing one of their retro models back into the spotlight. This year it seems that the Nike Air Trainer 3 is getting all of the good looks and it's hard to turn a blind eye to any of the colorways that have popped up. Especially this great new Knicks flavored version that is also serving as our Sneaker of The Week.

As much as we hate to play favorites, the Air Jordan 5 holds a very special place deep in our hearts. So finding out we could expect an entirely new colorway before the year is out is reason enough to make the Nike silhouette our Sneaker of the Week.

Kanye West may have moved over to adidas but it’s still all G.O.O.D. over at Nike. Apparently, West’s former consigliere-turned-hat designer Don “Don C” Crawley has secured himself a fresh Jordan brand collaboration. It’s so fresh that it was a shoe-in for our Sneaker of the Week spotlight.

Sneaker boutique Leaders 1354 is ushering in 2015 with a great new collaboration which means that it’s time to add “New Shoes” to the old phrase, “New Year, New Me.” The Chicago retailer has collaborated with Pony to create a beautiful-looking high-top, which we have crowned our Sneaker of The Week.

Hitting the Hamptons seems to be a summer phenomenon but Social Status has decided to explore just what it is to spend the winter there. The Pittsburgh boutique has done this via the upper of a New Balance 1600 and turned around a theme so thorough that we couldn't help but make it our Sneaker of The Week.

Burn Rubber almost has enough collaborations under their belt to stock shelves solely with their own product. Next up, they're bringing back the British Knights Enforcer Hi with a themed release that is more than worthy of being our Sneaker of the Week.

While it's no "Yeezi," it is definitely one of the brand's more anticipated new designs. And in a world where Kanye, Pharrell, and Nigo all play for the same team that's no small feat; which is exactly why the model is our Sneaker of The Week.

Any true sneaker fanatic has a select few models that are soft spots and for many of them the adidas Originals Forum Hi OG is just that. The model is absolutely timeless to begin with and when you factor in how rare it is to see the higher cut OG model it wanders over into rare territory as well as our Sneaker of The Week category.
