When hasn't Burn Rubber been on point? They're far beyond being a simple sneaker shop in Detroit and now that they're a full-blown brand, they almost have enough collaborations under their belt to stock shelves solely with their own product. Next up, they're bringing back the British Knights Enforcer Hi with a themed release that is more than worthy of being our Sneaker of the Week.

British Knights has been on the fringes of a comeback for a while and Burn Rubber has found a match-up that is steeped in enough history for a proper return. They've summoned Derrick Coleman, who is not only a Detroit native but also donned the British Knights Enforcer Hi as his signature sneaker when he played for the New Jersey Nets.

As for the shoe itself, the theme is executed perfectly thanks to a red leather and suede upper flanked by hits of navy. The piece is finished off with a gum outsole. Special touches like Coleman's jersey number on the tongue and his initials embroidered on the heel add just the right amount of depth to the drop.

Burn Rubber will make these gems available to the public on Dec. 12. They will also release with special edition Detroit Northern High School jerseys as a tribute to Coleman's alma mater.
