It's official! Remy Ma (aka Prisoner 08G0485) is finally home after serving a six-year prison sentence for assault, illegal weapon possession and witness tampering.

According to Miss Info, the Bronx, N.Y., native walked out of the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women at 3PM ET on Friday (Aug. 1). The 34-year-old rhymer was originally scheduled to be released on July 31 but was delayed due to an infraction.

Remy Ma's husband Papoose was the only person there to pick up her up. The rapper did that to avoid any problems with the authorities at the correctional facility. The couple left the area in a white Lamborghini.
Later, Remy Ma went on Instagram to confirm the good news. "I'm back," she wrote.

While incarcerated, Remy Ma earn her associates degree in sociology and reflected on her plans once she's freed. In addition, she also reconciled with Fat Joe after a long-standing feud in 2008.

“We finally let it go,” she said. “We ended up talking about things I want to do when I get home. He said, ‘I still think you’re the dopest female rapper ever.’ I’m like, ‘Really?!’ [Laughs].”

The 'Conceited' rapper also said that she has written plenty of songs for an album.
