Ab-Soul recently called out some of the rap newbies (aka mumble rappers) for their less-than-impressive lyrical skills. Particularly, rappers with “Lil” in their names. "All these new 'lil' n----z is weak as the time it took to create earth," he tweeted. "We don't pass on PRIMO beats in this sport kids!"

Although Ab-Soul didn't say any names, fans speculated that the TDE rhymer was taking shots at Lil Uzi Vert who refused to freestyle over a DJ Premier beat because it was dated during a Hot 97 interview.

Premo quickly addressed the situation and after a conversion with Lil Uzi Vert, the legendary producer tweeted out that he doesn't have a problem with him.

And despite getting dissed by Ab-Soul, Lil Uzi Vert doesn't seem to have a problem with the the Black Lip Pastor. On Friday (Sept. 9), the Philadelphia rapper tried to reach out to Ab-Soul on Twitter to possibly explain himself.

"Hey Ab-soul," he tweeted along with a praying man emoji. When one of his followers warned Uzi Vert about Soulo's lyrically prowess, the rapper responded, "Ohhhh I know. That n---- is one of the best rappers word play crazy I listen tooo him."

There's no word if Lil Uzi Vert and Ab-Soul were able to connect and chop it up. But props to Lil Uzi Vert for reaching out to Soulo.
