First, Pete Rock laid the smackdown on the "mumble rappers." Now, Ab-Soul is lashing out against some of hip hop's newcomers.

This past Tuesday night (Sept. 7), Soulo expressed his disdain for rap's newest offering of artists on his Twitter. He loaded up his ammo and sent a volley of shots to some of the "lil" rappers in today's game.

“All these new ‘lil’ n---z is weak as the time it took to create earth," he angrily tweeted.

While he didn't say any names, many speculated that Soul was taking shots at Lil Uzi Vert in one of his tweets. “We don’t pass on PRIMO beats in this sport kids!" he wrote.

If you recall, Vert caught heat this past February for his Hot 97 interview. There, he revealed his disinterest in DJ Premier beats when he refused to freestyle over one of his instrumentals.

As for Soul, he's been relatively quiet since he voiced his displeasure with playing the waiting game pertaining to releasing his new album. With Kendrick, SchoolBoy Q, and Isaiah Rashad all releasing their respective projects this year, it's safe to say that Soul has next. Take a look at some of his tweets below.
