It felt like Lil B’s long-awaited Black Ken project was never going to get a release date. But it appears the Bay Area rhymer is ready to drop his new mixtape after a seven-year wait.

On Tuesday night (Aug. 1), the BASED GOD went on his Twitter account to announce that Black Ken will hit digital stores on Aug. 17. Lil B also unveiled the track list and it’s a doozy— the collection boasts 27 songs.

To give fans a taste of the mixtape, the “Wonton Soup” rapper dropped seven tracks including “Global” featuring the tape’s lone guest feature iLoveMakonnen.

Minutes after Lil B made his mixtape announcement, fans tweeted their thank yous to the illustrious BASED GOD.

You can pre-order Lil B's Black Ken mixtape right now via iTunes.
