JAY-Z delivered plenty subliminal shots at his detractors on 4:44, including his longtime friend and producer Kanye West. Hov talked about his strained relationship with Yeezy on track “Kill JAY-Z,” “Caught Their Eyes’’ and “Bam.” But it looks as if Kanye will address his relationship with the Roc Nation leader on his next album.

On The Joe Budden Podcast, co-host Rory revealed that he recently spoke with Kanye and he reportedly told him that he will have a few bars for JAY-Z on his next project.

“Funny story - I don’t like name dropping, I had a cool little conversation with Kanye in L.A.," he told Joe. "He said he gotta a few words in response to what JAY had on 4:44 when his next record is coming out."

“There’s some malice,” he continued. “He wasn’t smiling. He was smiling before that conversation started. He said some funny s---. He said, ‘Yeah man I was next to JAY for years standing right next to him why he didn’t give me no jewels he put on the album?’ He was like, ‘Damn he could have schooled me to all of this s--- when I was right next to him.’"

Kanye has more than a lyrical beef with JAY-Z. The Chicago producer is suing him and his streaming service Tidal for allegedly failing to honor their financial obligations. 'Ye has terminated their contract and is seeking reportedly over $3 million that he is owed for the release of The Life of Pablo.

There's no word on when Kanye West will release his eighth solo studio album.
