A$AP Rocky is defending himself over allegations that he slapped a female fan at a concert last year.

The Harlem rhymer filed a countersuit against Lisamarie Wade who is suing him for allegedly assaulting her while in the crowd during his performance at Made in America in 2013. The victim claims the incident left her with “physical injuries and emotional shock.”

TMZ reports that Rocky contends in his claim that he nor his entourage ever touched Wade and believes aggressive fans in the crowd might have hit her. The 'Peso' rapper, who wants the lawsuit thrown out, says that Wade should have known there could be trouble in such an unruly setting.

Wade, who is a single mother, is seeking in excess of $75,000 in damages. “There’s no excuse for a man to ever hit a female. Ever,” she told TMZ. “I want to make sure that he gets prosecuted for this and gets in trouble because this isn’t the first time he’s done it.”

The lawsuit cites Rocky’s previous legal cases as proof that he has a “long history of aggressive and violent conduct directed toward members of the public at large.”

Attorneys for both parties had no comment on the matter.
