One major artist on a hit song is great, but it never hurts if two music superstars collaborate on a track.

Recently, Twitter was atwitter when SZA responded to a fan’s tweet suggesting that she and Missy Elliott collaborate on a song together. “A dangerous dream I only dreamt in me dreams,” the CTRL singer responded. Missy caught wind of her tweet and replied back, “Sounds like a SCORCHER BANGA to me. Mercy!”

A few days later, Missy and Janelle Monae were discussing on Twitter about working on a music video together, which prompted fans to demand that this dream collaboration happen immediately.

So with that in mind, The Boombox dreamt up a wish list of artists who we think should team up in the studio and create some scorcher bangers. Big name rappers like Cardi B, JAY-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Future, J. Cole and A$AP Rocky pairing up with R&B stars like Jennifer Lopez, the Weeknd, Elle Varner, 6lack, Erykah Badu and Khalid, respectively, sound like a match made in musical heaven.

Here is The Boombox's list of 13 hip-hop and R&B dream collaborations we would love to see come to fruition. Hopefully, sooner rather than later.
