A$AP Rocky Charged With Assault For Allegedly Slapping Female Fan

A$AP Rocky has been charged with misdemeanor simple assault for allegedly slapping a female fan, according to TMZ. The victim, a young mother, filed a criminal complaint with the District Attorney's Office today claiming the Harlem rapper slapped her in the face at Made In America Festival in Philadelphia.

Rocky was apparently trying to make his way through a crowd of fans, getting his shirt tugged on in the process, when he "turned and fired off an open-hand slap, connecting with her face." The woman claims she suffered whiplash from the impact. The rapper's camp has yet to comment.
