Yo Gotti Talks Memphis Rap and Selling CDs in Ziplock Baggies with Nardwuar at SXSW

Yo Gotti finally crossed paths with Nardwuar at SXSW in Austin, Texas a few weeks ago, where they chatted about a slew of different topics.

The "Down in the DM" rapper made sure to cover a range of topics with the popular host, including, speaking on rappers in Memphis, how he was able to learn math through the art of rap from his 5th grade teacher, how he sold CD's when he was first starting out his career, and much more. He even told the story of how he was inspired to create his smash hit single, "Down in the DM," while eating at DJ Khaled’s Finga Licking restaurant.
