Last week, it was reported that XXXTentaction had signed a $6 million deal with Capitol Records. Then, the report was disputed, with another outlet saying the deal wasn't worth $6 million and was actually a distribution deal.

But now, whatever kind of deal there was, is over. On Wednesday (Oct. 25), the Florida rapper revealed on Instagram that he was ending the deal.

"Terminating my deal with 'capitol records,'" he wrote. The "Revenge" rapper added, "I am not a 'signed' artist, and I will not be releasing music for a very long time, I'm tired of this shit."

Last week, Variety claimed XXX's deal was supposed to be a distribution deal between his current label, Bad Vibes Forever, and Capitol Music Group's indie distributor, Caroline. Reports of the deal being worth $6 million were also said to be overstated.
