Rihanna is no stranger to the acting world, having roles in the comedy 'This Is the End' and the action flick 'Battleship.' Now the singer may be on to a bigger gig on the silver screen as part of the next Bond film.

A source tells HollywoodLife.com that the Bajan songstress could be featured in 'Bond 24.' Apparently producers have already approached the 'Pour It Up' singer and are in talks about having her do some kind of cameo in the film.

“There have definitely been discussions of her joining the cast to be a Bond Girl,” the source states. “But she will not be the most focused Bond Girl if she gets the part. It will be more of a glorified cameo.”

"Rihanna is a big fan of the Bond films and has always loved the idea of appearing in one," a source said as reported by MSN.com. "She didn't even need to think about it, she knows she wants to do it. She's really excited."

Filming will begin in the next few months with Sam Mendes in the director's chair while Daniel Craig will reprise the role of 007. The film is scheduled to release in November 2015.

RiRi's camp has yet to make a comment on her part, but we're sure they'll speak up soon enough. In the meantime, Rihanna will star as Tip in the DreamWorks animated film 'Home,' which releases next year and stars Jim Parsons, Steve Martin and Jennifer Lopez.
