Treach Throws Shots at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian In Twitter Rant
Treach, who was a close friend of Tupac Shakur during the '90s, has taken umbrage with comments that West allegedly made in regards to the deceased icon, going as far as to say he thinks that 2Pac is "the most overrated rapper in history."
Oddly enough, Treach has just became aware of West's alleged comments, which originally appeared in September 2014 from a fake news website. According to the story, "a source" overheard the rapper talking about 'Pac following a screening of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
West's comments were allegedly spurred when an undisclosed person compared his Yeezus album to Shakur's 1993 effort, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., much to the G.O.O.D. Music leader's chagrin.
“How you gonna go compare my music to 2Pac?” West was overhead saying, before continuing his tirade. “2Pac wasn’t no musician. He was an actor. What was he in? Juice? Above the Rim? He was the most overrated rapper in history and you come up in here comparing him to me? A real rapper... a real star.”
Unfortunately, Treach didn't realize that the story was fake and decided to attack first and ask questions last. The "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" rapper posted a series of tweets and memes disparaging West and insinuating that Kim Kardashian is the true head of the West household.
Tweeting "F--- Kanye his Opinion & Kims Clothes he wears!!" among other unpleasantries, Treach held no punches during his series of comments defending his deceased friend. He also posted a photo of himself and Raekwon in the studio, presumably marking a collaboration between the two east coast veterans.
We hope that someone from Treach's camp will inform him that the Kanye story in question is fraudulent. For hip-hop's sake, we do not need to see a feud between Trigger Treach and Yeezy.
