Video game company EA Sports has announced that its new game 'Fight Night Champion' will feature an almost entirely indie hip-hop soundtrack, including underground heroes Murs, Black Milk, Atmosphere and El-P.

The boxing game allows gamers to enter the ring as one of over 50 fighting legends like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson and current champs like Manny Pacquiao. California rapper Murs described his song on the soundtrack, 'The Problem Is,' as a "super aggressive, aggro song ... I think it's a perfect song for something like 'Fight Night.' It just has that energy, man, that makes you want to punch someone in the face. Often, performing the song live, I've punched people in the face."

The 15-song soundtrack will also feature songs by independent artists Aloe Blacc, Shad and Lyrics Born, alongside the Roots, N.E.R.D., Chiddy Bang and U.K. artists Plan B and Tinie Tempah. Murs went on to jokingly issue a challenge to his fellow rappers, bragging "I'll f--- every rapper up on this game. That's not even funny, like seriously...sign on and get your ass whooped."

'Fight Night Champion' will be available for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 systems on March 1. Check out a demo of the game here and the tracklisting after the jump.
