16 Bars is back and it's better than ever. That's right, we've resurrected The Boombox's original series that spotlights your favorite MCs spittin' classic freestyles live for your listening and viewing pleasure.

There were a lot of rappers we could've chosen to be featured in this, the first episode of the returning series, but to really bring it back with a bang we tapped none other than rapid fire rhymer and Underground King, Tech N9ne. Just ask Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne -- the Strange Music head honcho isn't just one of hip-hop's biggest indie artists he's also one of the hardest spitters in the game.

For this installment of 16 Bars he debuts a brand new R-rated verse then speaks to us about how he developed his intricate, multisyllabic flow. His distinctly animated style has taken him from beatboxing and banging on grade school lunch tables to performing on stages the world over.

Watch Tech's 16 Bars freestyle above and our exclusive interview with the Kansas City kingpin below.

As an additional bonus watch Tech perform his 'Table And Chest' freestyle on camera for the first time ever. No doubt the it'll bring you back to the days of lunchroom cyphers and freestyle sessions.
