After premiering his new song 'Get Her Back' at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, Robin Thicke announced that he will release a new album this summer.

The untitled album, his follow-up to his chart-topping LP 'Blurred Lines,' will arrive in stores on July 1.

According to a press release, Thicke wrote and produced the entire project, including 'Get Her Back,' his “baby, I’m sorry” mea culpa to his ex-wife, Paula Patton, from whom he split in February after eight years of marriage.

During his acceptance speech for Top R&B Song at the BBMAs, Thicke thank Patton for her support.

"Most importantly I'd like to thank my wife for her love and support and for putting up with me for all these years," he said.

Meanwhile, Thicke will resume his Blurred Lines tour on May 25 and will hit several U.K. festivals during the summer.
